Multifunctional Club in the Heart of Budapest

Merlin, situated just off Deák tér, in the art-deco building of a former transformer house, was founded in 1991. It started as the first English language theatre in Hungary, and since its refurbishment in 2006, it has become one of the most frequented clubs in Budapest - with programmes for different age groups. If you are on the lookout for a place where you can find anything to complement your daily activities from morning till night, be it a workday or going out after-work, you do not need to look any further. From 10am, it is nice to pop in for a coffee, sample the bakery produces made fresh on the spot - while you can use the wifi hot spot with your laptop, or pick your choice of daily menu between noon and 3pm. In the evenings a great variety of programmes are awaiting you in the restaurant and the theatre room from plays through talks to concerts and DJ parties.
